Jireh comes from the Hebrew name “Jehovah Jireh”, which means “The Lord Will Provide.”
This name first appears in Genesis 22:14, when God provided a ram for Abraham to sacrifice instead of his son Isaac. In that moment, Abraham called the place “The Lord Will Provide,” recognizing that God saw his need and met it perfectly in time.

The name Jireh speaks of God’s faithfulness, foresight, and provision. He not only sees our needs but also provides for them before we even ask. It’s a reminder that we can trust God to care for us spiritually, emotionally, and physically, in every season of life.
